Ngirici removes UDA colours in her Kirinyaga office
Days after falling out with Deputy President William Ruto, Kirinyaga Woman Representative Wangui Ngirirci has reclaimed her office and other campaign machinery she had offered for use by United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
Ngirici removed UDA branding from her office in Kirinyaga County and repainted her office white, removing the yellow and green, the dominant colours of UDA
She also removed UDA branding materials from her campaign machinery including her public address truck and personal vehicles.
Ngirici has already announced she would be contesting for the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat as an independent candidate.
While decamping from UDA, she expressed concerns over the nomination process, stating tickets will be handed to the highest bidder.
Ngirici said her rival, Governor Anne Waiguru, had bribed Ruto to be given direct UDA ticket for the gubernatorial race.
