PSC releases names of shortlisted candidates for EACC’s commissioner job
Eighteen
candidates have been shortlisted for the position of commissioner of Ethics and
Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
In a
statement issued on Thursday, Public Service Commission (PSC) Chief Executive Simon
Rotich (pictured) said interviews for the shortlisted candidates will take place for three
days between February 9 to February 11, 2022.
The
three-day exercise will see the shortlisted candidates interviewed by the PSC
at their Harambee Avenue offices.
The
candidates will be divided into three groups, set to appear on the three
allocated days.
Thomas
Kiyai, Cecilia Mutuku, Yusuf Nzibo, Rukia Atikiya, Chege Muchiri and Samwel Ole
Marima will be interviewed on the first day.
Osman
Ibrahim, Elizabeth Munene, Richard Chacha Boke, Grace Kadenge, Jamaludin
Rajwani and John Ogallo will appear before the panel on day two.
On the
third and final day, Sebastian Nzomo, Emmy Jerono, Agnes Wanjiku, Kennedy
Odiwuor, Ada Wanjala and Maina Njoroge will appear before the commission.
The
Public Service Commission had on January 18, 2022, invited applications from
qualified Kenyans.
A total
of 219 individuals had submitted applications for the position.
