Why Uhuru remains an asset to Kenyans even after retirement
By Gordon Opiyo
Let us give credit where it is
due. President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta has a charming personality.
He has a way with words, and
his hearty laughter disposes people he interacts with.
Look at the head of the
Anglican Church... Preaching about Uhuru... Archbishop Welby met hundreds of
World Leaders, but apparently, he only remembered Uhuru during his sermon.
The Archbishop says that Kenya
should not waste Uhuru, but assign him an international role.
I fully support his sentiments.
Uhuru should act as President Olusegun
Obasanjo, who represents Nigeria in global events.
Uhuru may prove to be an asset
to Kenya after his tenure.
And the Archbishop of
Canterbury has told us to use him well after next year.
